1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Clips Saver (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), you (hereinafter referred to as "the User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") and the App's Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the App and uninstall it from your device.

These Terms shall govern your use of the App, which provides short video downloading services for TikTok and Instagram (Reels) platforms.

2. Permitted Use of the App

2.1 The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may use the App solely to parse and download short videos from TikTok and Instagram (Reels) for your own personal archiving and viewing purposes.

2.3 You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and the user agreements of TikTok and Instagram platforms when using the App and downloading related video content.

3. Prohibited Uses

You are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following behaviors when using the App:

• 3.1 Using the App or downloaded video content for any commercial purposes without obtaining the original author's consent;
• 3.2 Infringing upon the intellectual property rights (including copyright, trademark, portrait right, etc.) of the original video publishers or any third parties;
• 3.3 Downloading, storing, or disseminating video content that violates laws, regulations, public order, or good morals (including but not limited to violent, pornographic, defamatory, or infringing content);
• 3.4 Tampering with, reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to bypass the technical restrictions of the App;
• 3.5 Using the App to engage in any fraudulent, malicious, or illegal activities that may harm the App, other users, or third parties;
• 3.6 Redistributing or sharing the App (or its core functions) with third parties without the developer's written authorization.

4. User Responsibilities and Liabilities

• 4.1 You are solely responsible for all actions taken with your device and your use of the App, including but not limited to the selection of video content to download and the subsequent use of the downloaded videos.
• 4.2 If you violate these Terms, especially the provision regarding commercial use without the original author's consent, or infringe upon the rights of third parties or applicable laws, you shall bear all corresponding legal liabilities, compensation liabilities, and losses (including but not limited to legal fees, compensation amounts, and reputational losses incurred by the developer).
• 4.3 The developer (Penny) shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your improper use of the App or non-compliance with the video usage restrictions stipulated in these Terms.

5. App Availability and Modifications

• 5.1 The developer endeavors to provide stable and functional App services, but does not guarantee that the App will be free from errors, interruptions, or technical failures. The developer may temporarily suspend or interrupt App services for maintenance, updates, or other legitimate reasons without prior notice to users.
• 5.2 The developer reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time at its sole discretion. Any changes to the App will not affect the validity of these Terms unless otherwise notified.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• 6.1 The App's intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret rights of the App's code, interface design, logo, and text content) are exclusively owned by the developer (Penny). No part of the App may be copied, reproduced, or used without the developer's written authorization.
• 6.2 The intellectual property rights of all video content accessible through the App belong to the original publishers/right holders. The App only provides technical services for parsing and downloading video links, and does not obtain any ownership or right to use the video content.

7. Changes to These Terms

• 7.1 The developer may revise these Terms from time to time in accordance with business developments or changes in applicable laws. The revised Terms will be prominently displayed within the App (e.g., "Settings - Terms of Service") with a new effective date.
• 7.2 Your continued use of the App after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and uninstall it immediately.

8. Termination

• 8.1 The developer may terminate your right to use the App at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
• 8.2 Upon termination of the use right, you must immediately stop using the App and uninstall it from your device. The provisions of these Terms that are intended to survive termination (including but not limited to user liability, intellectual property rights, and disclaimer provisions) shall remain in effect.
